Women's Retreat 2016 The Church of the Ascension will be hosting its' 3rd annual Women's Retreat on Saturday, September 24, 2016. The theme of this years' retreat is "A Sacred Life" and will be led by the Rev. Fathers Weaver and Woolley. The schedule for the retreat is as follows: 10:00 am - Mass 10:45 am - Break 11:00 am - 1st session - Finding the Sacred in Everyday - led by the Rev. Fr. Arthur Woolley 11:45 am - Noonday prayers, fellowship and lunch break 1:00 pm - 2nd session - Gratitude - led by the Rev. Fr. Michael Weaver 1:45 pm - Break 2:00 pm - Afternoon tea and final session - Spiritual Growth - led by the Rev. Fr. Michael Weaver 2:45 pm - Evening Prayer There is no cost for the retreat as we do not want cost to be a reason to not attend, though a love offering will be taken to defray the costs of food and supplies.
